Kleman x Loreak Mendian

When the Loreak Mendian team first visited Kleman, what stood out was the authenticity of the surroundings. From Donostia to La Romagne, this collaboration connects two regions and two cultures, brought together by a shared relationship to craftsmanship, landscape, and purpose.

The rural scenery and vineyards of the Nantes and Anjou regions naturally shaped the foundation of this capsule. We stepped out of the studio and into the vineyards to design products made for life outdoors. A grounded approach guided by movement, constraints, and seasonality.

This capsule was created for the arrival of spring, with pieces designed to adapt, move, and last.

A simple and functional silhouette.

MAHASTIA SHOES

At the core of the collaboration, the MAHASTIA shoes reinterpret the iconic PADROR in a lighter construction, set on an EVA sole for improved comfort and everyday mobility.

Two versions are available: a cognac variation combining suede leather and hairy suede, and a black version mixing smooth leather with textured materials. Contrast stitching adds depth and echoes the light beige sole.

A leather-cut vine leaf patch completes the design as a signature reference to the collaboration.

“Mahastia”, meaning “vineyard” in Basque, directly reflects the landscapes and origins of this collaboration.
