Monocle Utility JKT
Loreak Mendian x Monocle Magazine
STREETWEAR FOR ANYONE WITH A BIT OF WANDERLUST
Loreak Mendian and Monocle magazine work together to create the Utility Jacket,
a garment combining design and functionality, built to complement anyone who considers
themself an urban explorer.

Streetwear culture has always been associated with people who are especially curious to understand and explore the world. So, it should come as no surprise that Loreak Mendian and Monocle magazine have crossed paths and that their meeting should have given rise to a garment designed for anyone with a bit of wanderlust.
The brands’ adventurous natures and passion for conscious, full contemporary life were captured in a collab combining streetwear and travel around the world: an extraordinary utility jacket custom-made for the adventurers of today. This partnership resulted in a garment that doesn’t just represent the essence of urban exploration, but also meets the practical and functional requirements for that exploration.
The burnt orange jacket evoking warmth and comfort is designed for maximum functionality while travelling with large pockets to securely store devices, a planner, and bits and bobs. It also comes equipped with a variety of features sure to come in handy, including an adjustable hood, interior pockets and a two-way zip. The fabric is light, but also quite tough, made of recycled polyamide with a water-repellent treatment free of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons.
Its seventies adventure jacket-inspired design affords it a sturdy, timeless style.
The Utility Jacket is being unveiled in mid-September to add a pop of colour to the rainy fall. It will be available for purchase at loreakmendian.com and monocle.com in addition to Loreak Mendian’s brick-and-mortar stores in San Sebastian, Bilbao and Madrid and at El Corte Inglés.
The Utility Jacket is presented in mid-September, to add a touch of color to the autumn rains and will be on sale at loreakmendian.com and monocle.com as well as in the brand's physical stores in Donosti, Bilbao and Madrid.
